NASHVILLE, Tenn. (October 15, 2025) — Detectives with the Metro Nashville Police Department’s Specialized Investigations Division, in partnership with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation and the Special Victims Division, arrested three men Wednesday in an undercover prostitution sting targeting individuals seeking sex with minors.
Among those arrested was Herman “Jay” Graham III, 50, the head football coach at Centennial High School in Williamson County. Graham was charged with patronizing prostitution with a minor and solicitation of a minor for aggravated statutory rape, both felony offenses. The coach is a former NFL running back who played for multiple teams over a period of five years. After his arrest, Centennial High School notified parents that he was fired from his coaching position and suspended without pay from teaching.
According to investigators, detectives posted ads on adult escort websites as part of the sting. Graham is accused of responding to one of those ads and engaging in a text conversation with an undercover officer posing as a 16-year-old girl. Authorities said Graham agreed to pay $120 for sex and arrived at a Nashville hotel, where he handed the undercover officer the money before being taken into custody. His bond was set at $45,000.
Two other men were also arrested in the operation:
-
Aaron Barnack, 46, of Erin, Tennessee, faces two counts of patronizing prostitution with a minor and two counts of solicitation of a minor for aggravated statutory rape. Police allege Barnack negotiated a deal to pay $1,000 to spend the night with a 16-year-old and her 17-year-old cousin. He was arrested upon arrival at the hotel. His bond is also $45,000.
-
Anthony Proctor, 20, of Hermitage, is charged with patronizing prostitution with a minor and solicitation of a minor for aggravated statutory rape after allegedly agreeing to pay $50 for a 15-minute encounter with a person he believed was a 16-year-old. Proctor was arrested after exchanging money with the undercover officer. His bond is $41,000.
Metro Police said the operation was part of ongoing efforts to combat human trafficking and protect minors from sexual exploitation.
