County Completing $9.2-Million Purchase of Downtown Bank of America Building

Murfreesboro, TN – It looks as if county offices on the square will soon have more suitable facilities and as a bonus, County Mayor Joe Carr indicated that the potential move to the former Bank of America building on East Main and Spring Streets will free-up approximately 60 parking spaces on the square. The big question—how do we stand “time wise”?  Reports and documents show that 3-years ago, the same building was purchased for about $3.4-million by MAC 3 Properties, LLC. Just 12-years prior to that sale, the previous owner sold the property to another purchasing group for a mere $900-thousandThat sale occured in April of 2013.
