Murfresboro, TN - If your idea of Halloween includes fresh apples, spooky crafts, and a dash of Charlie Brown nostalgia, then the Rutherford County Farmers Market has a treat for you—or perhaps a trick or two... That was Bailey Snow with the Extension office in Murfreesboro. Kids of all ages can enjoy the fun between 7 AM and 12 Noon on Halloween this Friday, October 31, 2025.

The Farmers Market at 315 John R Rice Blvd in Murfreesboro will be transformed into a Halloween Harvest Wonderland. Local farmers and vendors will be serving up their finest fall fare, from crisp produce and warm baked goods to handmade crafts and seasonal specialties. But this isn’t just a shopping trip—it’s a celebration!

UT-TSU Extension Agent III and County Director Anthony Tuggle noted, “We’re excited to offer families a safe and joyful way to celebrate Halloween while supporting our local farmers. This event brings together the spirit of community, creativity, and seasonal fun—all before lunchtime!”

Ghoulishly Good Fun for All Ages - At 10:00 a.m., gather your little goblins for a special screening of It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. It’s the perfect way to cozy up with cider and enjoy a timeless Halloween tale. Meanwhile, vendors will be battling it out in a booth decorating contest—expect cobwebs, cauldrons, and maybe even a scarecrow or two.

Kid-Friendly Creepy Crafts and Games - Families are encouraged to bring their kiddos for gentle Halloween fun. Think pumpkin-themed games, seasonal crafts, and enough smiles to light up even the foggiest October morning. It’s ideal for those who prefer their Halloween thrills before the sun sets—and without the sugar rush.

Why Wait for Nightfall? Whether you’re a fan of spooky décor, local flavor, or just want to kick off Halloween with a wholesome twist, this morning market is your go-to haunt. Costumes are welcome, laughter is encouraged, and the vibe is more “friendly ghost” than “ghastly ghoul.”

So grab your reusable tote, don your witchy hat, and head to the Rutherford County Farmers Market for a Halloween morning that’s equal parts festive and fresh.
