NOTE: Murfreesboro Police released an update Tuesday afternoon (11/18/25) regarding the search for a missing teenager, but shortly after, the department corrected its initial statement on Wednesday morning (11/19/2025). Police initially notified local media that the missing teen had been found safe. However, after further review, MPD re-contacted WGNS and issued a clarification, stating: “CORRECTION… Juvenile Ky-Mani Tindal is still missing. There was miscommunication that the teen had been located.”

The teen, 16-year-old Ky-Mani Tindal, has been missing for more than three weeks. According to investigators, Tindal voluntarily left Siegel High School on October 28 and got into a white vehicle with an unknown individual. Police say no license plate information or identification of the driver is available.

At the time he went missing, Tindal was wearing light blue sweatpants with the word ‘Mario Bros.’ printed down at least one leg, along with a white T-shirt. He is described as 5'9", weighing approximately 131 pounds, and has been entered into NCIC as a missing runaway.

Authorities continue to urge the community to remain alert.

Anyone who sees Ky-Mani Tindal or knows his whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Hofmeister at 629-201-5587.
