MURFREESBORO, Tenn. (WGNS) - The Blue Raider Athletic Association is currently in the middle of a high-energy membership drive designed to bring the community closer to MTSU sports. Associate AD for Development Daryl Keckler spent the day at the Hall of Fame reaching out to local supporters to share the vision for the future of the program. This drive comes at a time of significant growth on campus, following the opening of the Smith Center and ongoing progress on the Murphy Center project.

The association is putting a heavy emphasis on its "grassroots" history, noting that while large gifts are vital, the organization was built on the support of $100 and $250 annual donors. To incentivize new growth, the BRAA is offering a special deal through May 5th: anyone joining at the $250 level for the first time—or returning after a five-year absence—will receive two season tickets for the upcoming football season. Athletic leaders hope this push will capitalize on the "buzz" surrounding year three of the Derek Mason era and the school's rising profile in Conference USA.
