SMYRNA, Tenn. (WGNS) - TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center continues its winning streak for patient safety. The Leapfrog Group released its spring 2026 ratings this week, giving the Smyrna hospital its sixth consecutive "A" grade.
This consistent performance earned the facility an elite "Straight A" designation, a title held by only 15 percent of hospitals in the United States.
CEO Ryan LeMasters says the honor reflects the trust Rutherford County residents place in the hospital's staff. The grading system looks at 30 different national performance measures, including how well a hospital prevents infections and medical injuries. Residents can view the full safety data online at the Hospital Safety Grade website.
