WILSON COUNTY, Tenn. - A months-long investigation involving local, state, and federal authorities has led to the arrest of two individuals accused of participating in what officials described as a significant narcotics trafficking operation centered in Wilson County. The case began in October 2025 and brought together members of the Wilson County Sheriff's Office Narcotics Division, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. According to authorities, the joint effort focused on dismantling an alleged cocaine distribution network operating in Middle Tennessee.

Investigators identified 53-year-old Kevin Alonzo Neal, of Mt. Juliet, as the primary target of the probe. Law enforcement officials allege Neal distributed more than 500 grams of cocaine during six separate transactions conducted throughout the investigation. That amount exceeds one pound of the illegal substance.

On Wednesday, May 27th, the Wilson County Sheriff's Office said in a media release, “Neal is a confirmed gang member and convicted felon with multiple convictions for Aggravated Robbery and Aggravated Assault.”

As the inquiry progressed, detectives obtained search warrants for Neal's residence and two additional properties in Davidson County believed to be connected to the alleged operation. During coordinated searches carried out in December, agents reportedly recovered nearly 300 grams of cocaine, a substantial quantity of marijuana, and 24 firearms.

Officials also located two additional individuals at the properties who were allegedly connected to the drug distribution activity. During the enforcement action, authorities seized nearly $50,000 in cash along with three vehicles believed to have been purchased through proceeds generated by illegal narcotics sales.

Evidence gathered during the investigation was later presented to the Wilson County Grand Jury, which returned indictments against Neal and an alleged associate, Nicole Marie Bisel.

According to court records, Neal faces seven felony cocaine-related charges, four felony weapons offenses, and one count of money laundering. Bisel was indicted on charges of conspiracy to distribute cocaine and money laundering.

This past Wednesday, May 20, investigators with the Wilson County Sheriff's Office and TBI took both suspects into custody. Authorities stated that Neal was allegedly found in possession of approximately one ounce of cocaine at the time of his arrest, resulting in an additional charge.

The investigation remains active, and officials indicated that further arrests and additional criminal counts could be forthcoming as agents continue examining evidence connected to the alleged trafficking organization.

At last check on Thursday, both Neal and Bisel remained behind bars in Wilson County.
