MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Murfreesboro Medical Clinic & SurgiCenter has opened its new Lascassas Pike location, bringing expanded medical services to one of the fastest-growing areas of Murfreesboro and Rutherford County. Click here to visit MMC online.
The new facility is located at 2668 Lascassas Pike and is designed to improve access to care for patients on the northeast side of the city. According to MMC, patient appointments at the new site begin June 15.
The 40,000-square-foot building will include Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, on-site laboratory services, radiology, and MMC Now Family Walk-In Clinic services. The walk-in clinic will provide extended hours for minor illnesses and injuries, giving patients another option for care without needing to travel across town.
MMC officials said the Lascassas Pike location also allows providers from the Northfield office to move into a more modern facility with additional space, improved patient flow, and better parking. Following the move, the Northfield location will close.
MMC Now Lascassas, which had been located in the Rutherford Crossing shopping center near Kroger, is also relocating into the new building. That move places walk-in care, primary care, diagnostic imaging, and lab services under one roof.
Joey Peay, CEO of Murfreesboro Medical Clinic, recently talked about how the new location allows for the medical provider to better serve area patients with a more convenient care experience for those who live on that end of the county. By bringing primary care, walk-in services, and diagnostics together, MMC is making it easier for patients to access the care they need and want closer to home, without unnecessary stops or delays.
Pediatric services are also expected to relocate to the Lascassas Pike facility later in 2026.
The new clinic is part of a larger medical and retail development near Lascassas Pike and East Pitts Lane. Ascension Saint Thomas has also announced plans for a new freestanding emergency department on the same site, creating a growing health care hub for eastern Rutherford County.
MMC describes the expansion as part of its long-term effort to keep pace with population growth while offering more convenient, patient-centered care closer to home.
