Another alleged thief has hit another Starbucks Coffee Shop in Murfreesboro. This time, the culprit struck the Starbucks on South Church Street.

Evidently, the subject went to the drive through and when he got to the window, grabbed the tip jar and drove away.

Two weeks ago the same type of incident occurred at the Medical Center Parkway Starbucks. Police believe it is the same suspect in both cases. This time around, he did not get away with the alleged theft. He was arrested.

Charged with theft under $500 was 23-year old Glenn Elrod. Police went directly to his home on Apache Moon Trail to make the arrest because in both thefts, the person in line behind him wrote down his license plate number. In the first case a customer in the drive through line captured the car and license plate number on camera.

In both cases, the tips totaled less than $20.
