Another Murfreesboro business was broken into. This time, the Food Mart across from Bell Jewelers was hit by an unknown culprit who may have been caught on tape, according to a recently filed report. This is the 5th business broken into in the past week and a half in the Murfreesboro City Limits.
A brick was apparently thrown through a window at the business on NW Broad Street. A man who was seen near the store after the window was shattered was picked up by authorities and questioned. A video tape from the store showed a male who looked similar to the man found to be walking near the business at 4:20, Sunday morning after the break in occured. A money bag was also recovered in a nearby parking lot.
25-Year old Marquis Williams was later charged with burglary and theft of property. He was placed under an $8,000 bond.
