Another fire has been reported at Lakewood Park in the area of Beechgrove on the Rutherford / Coffee County line. WGNS was told that the New Union Fire Department was paged out around 5:00pm Monday afternoon to a structure fire in Lakewood Park in Coffee County.

The cabin was unoccupied at the time and according to an eyewitness, someone may have thrown something thru the front window to start the fire. The fire was extinguished before major structural damage occurred. The Coffee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating. No injuries were reported.
