A used syringe was recovered during an accidental drug overdose call at the Red Roof Inn on Armory Drive. However, the friend of the victim were not found when paramedics got to the room.
Once at the hospital, the 31 year old woman came to with treatment. The woman advised that she has been a heroin addict for the past seven years. She also advised that two of her friends "were" in the hotel room with her. However, upon the arrival of police, they were nowhere to be found.
The woman is expected to recover, but will need to enter treatment if she decides to get clean.
