Archie Manning to Speak at MTCS

Middle Tennessee Christian School in Murfreesboro is proud to announce that Archie Manning will be the keynote speaker at its Legacy of Light Gala on April 17, 2014 at the MTCS Varsity Gymnasium on the school’s main campus.

Archie Manning is a former professional football quarterback who began his acclaimed career at the University of Mississippi. He played in the National Football League for the New Orleans Saints from 1971 to 1982, then for the Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings.  Manning is the father of Peyton Manning current Denver Broncos starting quarterback, and current New York Giants starting quarterback Eli Manning. The Manning family was recently featured in ESPN’s “SEC Storied” documentary The Book of Manning.

The MTCS fundraiser gala will feature several attendance options ranging from General Admission seating to the elegant “Dinner of Distinction.”  “This year’s gala will have a fresh look and we are thrilled that Mr. Manning will be the keynote speaker to launch an exciting new chapter of events at Middle Tennessee Christian School,” said MTCS President Dr. Phil Ellenburg. “He is a respected patriarch with a dynamic personality who is committed to faith and family values. We have had fantastic community response and expect a tremendous turnout for the event.”
