An assault involving juveniles sent residents in the area of Oakland's Mansion fleeing on Tuesday afternoon. Murfreesboro Police Sgt. Kyle Evans told WGNS he could not discuss the details of Tuesday's situation because the incident involved persons under the age of 18. However, a resident told WGNS that they were told they had to leave the area outside of Oakland's Mansion because of a possible juvenile armed with a gun.

The good news... at this point, it appears as if no one was seriously injured in the incident. Now for the bad news, because those involved were juveniles Murfreesboro Police are keeping their lips sealed.
