During the height of the storm, an armed robbery was taking place in La Vergne. Police spokeswoman Rachel Heggan tells NewsRadio WGNS the robbery took place in the Cedar Glen Mobile Home Park, located at Fergus and Sand Hill Rd.

A short pursuit with L-P-D took place. The police vehicle was hit and sustained damage. The officer was not injured but was transported to StoneCrest Medical Center as a precaution. Two men were taken into custody.
