In LaVergne, police are on the look for an armed robber who allegedly robbed the Comfort Inn on Enterprise Boulevard.
During the hold up, the subject fired one shot while inside the motel office on Tuesday night. Police quickly responded and learned that witnesses chased the robber as he ran away, but stopped when the robber pointed a gun at them.
K9 Units searched for him, but at this point have turned up empty handed.
The suspect is described as a black male standing about 6'2" tall and weighting around 250 pounds.
