On Tuesday night at close to 8:00, Murfreesboro Police were called to the Chariot Pointe Apartments on Northfield Boulevard for a robbery. Once on the scene, police spoke to a 39 year old female who advised that she was at the apartment complex to visit a friend. When she entered the apartment unit, she noticed two additional men and a woman who reportedly assaulted her.

As the victim described the incident, it was realized that she was also struck in the head possibly by the butt of a gun. One of the subjects then reached into her bra, pulling out cash. She was able to run out of the apartment and told a bystander to call 9-1-1. Police then responded.

Detectives have taken over the investigation. No arrest has been reported.
