A Bradyville man found passed out in his car in Murfreesboro was arrested this past week and faces multiple charges.  According to Murfreesboro Police reports, police were dispatched to a vehicle in a parking lot on Lascassas Pike at the Krystal's restaurant. When they got there, they found 34 year old Scotty Bowman reportedly passed out in the drivers side of the car.

After Bowman got out of the car, he was allegedly unsteady on his feet, had blood shot eyes and his speech was slurred.  Officers also found a used syringe on the floorboard of the car as well as two Red Bull cans that contained drug residue.  A search of the car produced oxycotin tablets that he had in his possession without a prescription.  Bowman was placed under arrest and charged with public intoxication, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule 2 drugs.
