A charge of aggravated robbery has been filed against a Murfreesboro man. 54-year old James Norman was arrested for allegedly robbing the Dollar General Store on Northfield Boulevard on October 11th.

According to a police arrest report, Norman robbed the store at knife point. The man then fled the scene to Haynes Manor Apartments where he lives. Two people were able to positively identify Norman as the man who allegedly robbed the store. During a police interview, Norman denied robbing the store, but the evidence against him was apparently greater than his statement.

Norman will appear in court on November 5, 2014. Norman remains jailed under an $11,000 bond.
