The Education Savings Account bill that would benefit thousands of children with special needs passed both the House Finance Committee and the full Senate earlier this week.

"This is a great development for all Tennesseans. It gives children with special needs across the state the tailored academic experience they deserve; one that meets their unique needs," said the Beacon Center of Tennessee CEO Justin Owen. "Every child deserves a quality education, and today's votes in favor of Education Savings Accounts for children shows that our legislature realizes that."
