Three Murfreesboro men have been arrested and charged in a murder that took place in Hendersonville, Tennessee on Monday.
According to the Hendersonville Police Department, on Monday (September 21, 2020) a shooting occurred during an alleged drug deal in the parking lot of the Dodge’s Fried Chicken Gas Station on West Main Street in Sumner County.
A 22-year old man by the name of Dorian Banks was transported to the Hendersonville Medical Center after being shot. He later died as a result of his injuries.
The murder investigation continued by Hendersonville Detectives and three suspects believed to be responsible for the murder were identified. The three were located and arrested in Murfreesboro and in Nashville, with the assistance of the Murfreesboro and Metro Nashville Police Departments.
20-Year old Monterrious Moore, 19-year old Thomas Watson and 22-year old Keion Hayes have all been arrested and charged with First Degree Murder and Aggravated Robbery. All three live in Murfreesboro.
In addition to the murder, Hayes has also been charged with Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Dangerous Felony.
Monterrious Moore and Thomas Watson are being held in the Sumner County Jail. Keion Hayes is being held in the Rutherford County Adult Detention Center on unrelated charges with a hold from the Sumner County Jail.
The court dates and bonds for these defendants have not yet been assigned.
