Organizers request new and returning student veterans and their families make their reservation by emailing Elizabeth Wilburn at Elizabeth.Wilburn@mtsu.edu.

Center Director Hilary Miller said, “The briefing is an orientation customized for our military-connected students and their families. It will focus on campus resources.”

Miller and her staff are targeting new-to-MTSU student veterans and family members, but it is open to all student veterans and their families, she said.

She noted, “Our objective is to make them aware of on-campus contacts for all offices that can help them be successful. We want them to know the center’s staff, be connected to us and meet and know other student veterans.”

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Keith M. Huber, senior adviser for veterans and leadership initiatives, will speak during the event.
