Football & Christmas Parade: a winning combination!

There were two major events this weekend: Oakland High School is now the TSSAA State 6A Champions defeating Summit 43-26.  and the Smyrna Christmas Parade was Sunday afternoon (12/5/2021).  Both went perfectly!

Bryan Barrett and Jon Dinkins were at UT Chattanooga's Finley Stadium for live coverage of the 2021 Blue Cross Bowl Football 6A Championship. Both teams had an impressive 14-0 win loss record for the season, but Oakland came out with the victory for the state championship--again 43-26. 

By the way, the Patriots past record shows continued strength. They earned the championship in 1984, 1998, 2008, 2018, and 2020. And now, victors in 2021 as well---congrats to the Pats!

It's Christmas Parade Season

And the jolly man in red went down Lowry Street Sunday afternoon with the Smyrna Christmas Parade.
