NewsRadio WGNS remembers 9-11 with this tribute to the men and women who gave their all on the day our homeland was attacked by terrorists.
U.S. Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.) released the following statement recognizing Sunday as the 15th anniversary of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks:
"It is hard to think of a time when our country was more unified than after 9/11. Not only did we honor those who lost their lives and those who tried to save others. We paused to remember what makes us one country, what allows a nation of people of so many different backgrounds to say, 'We are all Americans.' Those are lessons that we should remember today."
