Audition for a Play at the Center for the Arts

The Center for the Arts will be holding auditions for two of their upcoming productions in the month of July. Auditions for the musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN will be held on July 17 and 18, and for the play SUITE SURRENDER on July 31 and August 1.

Auditions will be held for the musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN on July 17 and 18th with callbacks on July 19th. All roles are available. Auditions are limited to performers ages 16 & up (due to show material). Please prepare a one verse-one chorus musical piece. A pianist will be provided. No acapella auditions will be allowed. A dance audition will follow the vocal auditions, please bring appropriate clothing and shoes. The show requires 20 men and women. Rehearsals will begin August 1st and run 4 days a week until Tech week. Performances run October 14th-30th. The show will be directed by Renee Robinson, with musical direction by Stephen Burnette and choreography by Julie Wilcox.

Auditions will be held for the hysterical farce SUITE SURRENDER on July 31 and August 1. All roles are available. Looking for 5 females and 4 males ages 25 - 60+. No accents necessary. Cold readings from the script will be conducted. Providing resumes and headshots would be helpful, but not required. Rehearsals will begin the first week of August 1st and run 3-4 days a week until Tech week. Performances run September 16 - 25. The show will be directed by Vickie Bailey. ?
