Author, Speaker Don Day to Keynote October RUTHERFORD Cable Meeting

Local author Don Day is the keynote speaker at RUTHERFORD Cable's monthly breakfast meeting Tues., Oct. 10 from 7:15 a.m. until 9 a.m. RUTHERFORD Cable is a business and professional organization promoting professional advancement.

Day will speak about how to handle life's challenges, saying "We will face opposition on the way to success. Make sure the obstacle isn't you." Day will provide inspiration, motivation and information to encourage personal and professional growth.

The monthly meeting is at Stones River Country Club, 1830 N.W. Broad St. in Murfreesboro.
RUTHERFORD Cable members and guests are welcome, and the public is invited to attend. The cost for this meeting is $20 for members and $25 for non-members and includes breakfast. Reservations are available online at rutherfordcable.org and must be completed by Noon Friday, Oct. 6. A limited number of seats will be available for walk-ups on a first-come, first-serve basis with an additional $5 late-registration fee.

Don Day and his award-winning real estate teams have been involved in the sale and marketing of more than four thousand homes, home sites and condos throughout Middle Tennessee. Day is the author of "The Surge Effect: Bursting the Boundaries of Your Life." Day is a performance trainer and speaker and his client list includes Stellar Recovery, National Healthcare Corporation, the University of Tennessee, the University of Kentucky, the United States Air Force and the United States Marine Corps.

Day is an avid runner, completing more than one hundred marathons (half, full and ultra-marathons). He is a strong advocate for the Wounded Warriors Project and Veteran Groups. Day is retired from the United States Air Force.



About RUTHERFORD Cable

RUTHERFORD Cable is a nine-year-old organization of approximately 250 members promoting the professional advancement of women. The organization provides professional and personal development, as well as business growth, through building long-term relationships, structured networking and referrals. The organization is the first chapter of the 30-year-old Nashville Cable.

Monthly breakfast meetings are held the second Tuesday of each month, with informal networking beginning at 7:30 a.m., followed by structured, facilitated networking and top business-related keynote speakers. Meetings are concluded by 9:00 a.m. Free networking events are held monthly in addition to special workshops and a yearly mentoring program underwritten by First Tennessee Bank; the Center for Executive Leadership in partnership with the Middle Tennessee State University Honors College and the
