Did you know there is a primitive campground in Barfield Park? The 430-acre park that is operated by the Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation Department has several miles of hiking trails, some of which lead hikers to the top of Marshall Knobs. Another trail leads walkers to the Stones River.
A fun adventure camp recently took place in Barfield Park that taught children the in's and out's of camping. The experience also included a ropes course, kayaking, zip lines and more.
