Barnabas Vision oversees the successful and positive "Adopt-A-Grandparent" program in Murfreesboro.

The mission of "Adopt-A-Grandparent" is to provide a senior adult and/ or nursing home resident with a regular one-on-one visitor. While some senior adults on the program may never receive visitors, others may benefit from additional companionship. The Adopt-A-Grandparent establishes a special one-on-one relationship with a regular visitor they can call their own.

Barnabas is looking for volunteers for the program now. If you would like to adopt a resident at a local nursing home and commit to visiting with him or her 3 to 4 times a month, then please contact Barnabas Vision today and leave a message. The number is 615.556.5134.
