A 25-year old Bayard Avenue man faces numerous charges, including aggravated domestic assault and two counts of assault on an officer.

Justin Hamm was arrested at his home Thursday afternoon around 4:45 after his father called Murfreesboro Police. When Officer Nathan Corwin arrived he found the father, who was bleeding from his left arm.

The victim stated he was assaulted and his property damaged. Officer Michael Joyce located Hamm walking through the neighborhood. The report states he became combative and was placed in Officer Benjamin Leibach's patrol car.

That's when Hamm reported spit on Officers Joyce and Leibach. After a spit mask was placed on him, the report shows he tried to kick the windows of the patrol car. A police van was brought to the scene and Hamm was taken for booking.

Hamm's bond was set at 42-thousand, 750 dollars since he was already out on bond for a previous domestic assault against his father. He will appear in General Sessions Court on January 25th.
