Two men talked their way into the home of a Murfreesboro woman and once inside, stole money out of her purse. Reports indicate the 71-year old victim was approached by the men while she was sitting on her front porch in a neighborhood near McFadden School. The subjects claimed to be selling flooring.

The victim invited the men into her home and during the visit she briefly left the room. While she was in another room the men grabbed her purse and took approximately $500 out of it. Shortly after goodbye's were said and the men left, she noticed the money out of her wallet was gone.

Police canvased the area, but could not find the subjects. They were said to be white males driving a grey or silver truck with a water holding tank in the truck bed. One of the men appeared to be in his early twenties and the second was between 40 and 50 years of age. So far, no arrests have been made.
