As Murfreesboro's population explodes, so does the public's support of the Beesley Animal Foundation. That was obvious at the non-profit's Thursday night patron's party and this coming Saturday's Paws and Pearls.

At a Thursday night patron's reception at The Five Senses Restaurant, Executive Director Amanda Oliver told WGNS, "This coming Saturday evening's PAWS AND PEARLS is sold out."

Well known Music City songwriter Tim James shared his many songs that were made popular by such artists as Toby Keith, Trace Adkins, George Strait and many others. The Murfreesboro resident was also presented with the Grammy Award for Best Country Song as well as the Academy of Country Music Award for Song of the Year.

The popular fundraiser will be at The Grove at Williamson Place and it allows the non-profit animal humane group offer low cost spay and neuter surgeries for dogs and cats, heartworm testing and much more.

A special thank you to Freda Morgan who chaired the Thursday evening gathering as well as the weekend's PAWS AND PEARLS fundraiser.
