Belk Shoplifter Gets Away with over $500 in Merchandise

MURFREESBORO - Murfreesboro Police are looking for a black female who made away over $500 in merchandise from Belk's in the Avenue. Officers were called to the store Wednesday afternoon around 1:30 after a loss prevention officer reported the woman went past all points of sale without paying. He did make contact with the suspect, who ran off and was unable to be located. He did stop another female who was with the suspect when she ran and got a first name of the suspect, who they discovered lives in Nashville. The search continues for the black female accused of getting away with more than $500 in female clothing.
