Charges are pending against a 34-year old Murfreesboro man at Best Buy. Evidently, the former employee would sell an item to a customer and then pocket a gift card that was supposed to be given to the customer. A police report shows that the employee would not tell the customers that they were due to receive a gift card for their purchase and would pocket the card.

To date, it appears as if the former employee pocketed 20-gift cards totaling more than $1,700. Charges have not yet been filed and are pending an investigation by the MPD.
