A bomb threat reported at Patterson Park Community Center in Murfreesboro led to the building being evacuated on Monday (5/1/17). However, the subject who called suggesting there was a bomb in the building used his personal phone apparently not realizing the local recreation center had called ID.
When an employee called the number back, the subject on the phone stated that the call was only a prank and then hung up.
After a bomb sniffing dog searched the building and found nothing out of the ordinary, the center was reopened.
No word on charges at this point, but the case is open.
