Bomb threat cleared at Walmart on South Rutherford Boulevard in Murfreesboro

Around 5:10pm Thursday (1/26/17) evening, the Walmart on S. Rutherford Blvd. received a bomb threat. The store was evacuated and searched with the assistance of the Tennessee Highway Patrol. Sgt. Kyle Evans with the Murfreesboro Police Department confirmed, "Nothing suspicious was located and the store has been turned back over to store management without incident."

The Criminal Investigations Division is investigating.
