Bonnaroo may have been reborn this year during the annual event. While attendance has been on the decline with a sharp drop in 2016, the crowds seemed to be up this year.

U2 and the Red Hot Chili Peppers no doubt helped to bring out more fans and more age groups, some buying tickets, or wrist bands as 'Roo staff call them, just for those two groups.

Both the U2 concert and the Chili Peppers started at 11 PM on Friday and then Saturday nights. Both events were standing room only in the first few hundred feet of the stage. Both were excellent performances and enjoyed by different segments of the population from all over the United States and some visitors even came from different countries.
