With the ring of school bells faded, laughs and screams at local public pools are growing.

The Boro Beach at SportsCom on Memorial Boulevard in Murfreesboro and Smyrna's Splash Town opened on Monday, May 28th. Memorial Day is the unofficial start to summer.

At Boro Beach, the cost is seven-dollars for adults and five-dollars for kids.

The Smyrna Outdoor Adventure Center Splash Town is also open. Cost to enjoy the refreshing water park is five-dollars for adults and four-dollars for kids.
