A PRIDE Festival will take place on the Murfreesboro square from 4:00 to 10:00PM on Saturday night, August 27th.

In the past, LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer) PRIDE events have successfully been held on the MTSU campus, but this will be the first community wide event for Murfreesboro. It will be called BoroPride.

BoroPride is being planned by the Rutherford County Committee of the Tennessee Equality Project.

The August 27th event will be free to attend.
