On Saturday January 17, 2015 at approximately 1:20 in the afternoon, the BP gas station at 251 North Lowry Street in Smyrna was robbed. The suspect, armed with a large frame semi-auto handgun, appeared to have been a white male who was wearing a blue Power Ranger's mask.

Police in Smyrna say the suspect was driving a red, Ford F-150 extended cab truck with black rims and chrome center caps. Green ladders were hanging out the back of the bed along with contractor type materials, possibly painting and drywall supplies.
