Brown Dr. Man Facing Felony Drug Charges

A 33-year old Brown Drive man was arrested by Murfreesboro Police, who were called to the Kroger on Lascassas Pike for suspicious activity.

Michael Witkowski was said to be sitting in his truck Saturday morning around 4:45am for over an hour. Officer Eric Nelson reports he was very incoherent and under the influence.

The officer went on to report a search of Witkowski turned up three-point-six-six grams of crystal meth in a plastic baggie inside a pack of cigarettes. Also in the vehicle the officer reported finding a loaded Kimber 45-caliber handgun.


Witkowski was arrested on several charges, including felony possession of a schedule two drug with the intent to resell and being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun. Bond was set at $17,250 and a court date of September 28th in General Sessions Court was set.
