A special watch has been placed on a home by Murfreesboro Police after unknown persons opened fire on the house. Reports indicate the three occupants of the home were narrowly missed by bullets entering the house through the living room. The police report shows, “bullets came within inches of striking (two victims).”

When the gunshots were heard in the area of South Bilbro Avenue, those inside the home dropped to the floor where they remained several minutes before they felt it was safe to get up and call 9-1-1. Bullets shattered two windows at the home and damaged a door and a wall inside the house.
