Buy a MT Blanket at Raider Tees - Give a Blanket

As a fan of MTSU sports, we think of a blanket as something to cushion our seat at a ball game, to cover our shoulders and block the cool breeze, or simply to show our Raider pride as a wall hanging or sofa throw in our home. However, to homeless members of our community, a blanket serves a much needed purpose. A blanket is that added layer of warmth from the cold weather and a barrier from the cold damp ground. In talking to some that serve these local communities, we discovered a need for sleeping bags, tents and blankets.

Our thought was twofold, to sell MTSU blankets to fans and to simultaneously give blankets to those in need in our community. We envisioned our "Buy a MT Blanket - Give a Blanket" program. Each time a fan purchases a MT blanket from Raider Tees, we will give a solid non-branded blanket to an agency in Murfreesboro that works with the homeless. The blanket we have chosen to give away is a 100% polyester fleece with a water resistant backing. The program we have chosen to assist is the Murfreesboro Cold Patrol.

We ask you to join with us at Raider Tees in giving blankets to those in need in our community by purchasing MTSU blankets for your family and at the same time giving a new blanket to someone in need at no additional cost to you, the fan.

Raider Tees carries several logoed blankets for MT fans including a Sweatshirt blanket, a Rachel throw, an all-weather blanket, a fleece blanket and a knit blanket. We have looked at our blanket sales since November 1, 2016 and will begin this program with a donation of 49 blankets to the Murfreesboro Cold Patrol.

Join us as we continue this program into the future. You buy a MT blanket - and Raider Tees will donate one.
