Car Window Shot Out on Rocky Lane

A Bradyville Pike woman reported her rear car window was shot out. Murfreesboro Police were called to the area of Rocky Lane and Gunnerson Avenue Friday morning around 12:30. The 25-year old victim was not hurt in the incident. According to the police report, the rear of the 2015 green Ford Explorer was busted and what appeared to be bullet hole was found in the front windshield. Witnesses reported a group of people fighting in the street and a black male subject shot at the SUV. Detectives called to the scene were able to determine the window was allegedly shot out by Alvin Higgs. There are currently four active felony warrants for Higgs.
