Cellphone Repair Store Broken Into

A local cellphone repair shop was broken into this past weekend. Evidently, someone broke the front glass door to gain entry of U Break I Fix on Middle Tennessee Boulevard.

During the preliminary investigation, it was learned that the cash register along with a handgun in plain view were not disturbed.

About 8 phones were stolen along with 7 iPhone screens and 4 iPhone batteries.

Video surveillance was in the store at the time of the theft, but may not have captured the suspect or suspects.

The break-in was first observed and reported by a homeless man in Murfreesboro.

The value of the merchandise stolen was well over $2,500.
