Central Magnet School is having an excellent year in high school baseball. They currently have a 31 and 5 record in region 4-AA baseball.

Central will take on Chattanooga Christian next. The Chattanooga school is 26 and 2. The game will be played Wednesday (5/13/15) night at 6:30 (Eastern Time) in Hamilton County for the Region 4-AA finals.

In a past interview heard on WGNS, Coach Jason Patterson talked about how great the baseball program is at Central, which is quite amazing due to the fact that Central Magnet has only been in operation since 2010.

Prior to that date, the school on East Main Street was known as Central Middle School. But, years before the school being called Central Middle, it was a high school.
