Cooper said, "I am looking forward to returning to the education arena and utilizing my previous experience in afterschool and Early Childhood Education to partner locally and raise awareness of the importance of early literacy development and parent engagement in education."

McKenna Moore comes to United Way from Fifth Third Bank where she served as a Financial Center Manager and Personal Banker for three and a half years. She previously owned McKenna Moore Marketing following time in the aviation industry in marketing and sales. Moore received her bachelor's degree in journalism from Middle Tennessee State University, as well as credentials in meeting and event planning from Belmont University.

Moore said, "This opportunity allows me to take my love for community involvement on a much broader scale. Now I get to help improve residents' lives and engage volunteers beyond the financial aspect and cultivate the education and health of my community as well."

"We are thrilled at the addition of both Jessica and McKenna to United Way's team", said Meagan Flippin, President and CEO for United Way. "Each brings a robust skill set and a high degree of talent and professionalism to their role, and I am excited to see each of them advance United Way's mission in the community."
