We are contining to follow the story involving a grandmother who told us her grandson was beat up at Christiana Middle School on 231 South. While we are not releasing the name of the juvenile, we are releasing a statement made by the grandmother.

Meanwhile, the schools say the story is just not adding up. We asked James Evans, the spokesperson for the Rutherford County Schools, why?

After the story aired on Tuesday, the grandmother of the little boy called WGNS back to tell us the incident definetly occured, despite questions from the school. The woman said her grandson was beat up on Monday and that the schools told her their survelliance video only went back to Tuesday.

The case remains open.
