The case against the Smyrna man accused of killing one and wounding six others at a church just over the Rutherford County line in Antioch is bound over to the grand jury.

Emanuel Samson did not appear in court. However, church usher Caleb Engle of Burnette Chapel Church of Christ did testify. He spoke about the moment he was confronted by the alleged shooter:

A struggle between the two ended with Samson shooting himself.

Engle also recalled during his testimony church members were hiding between the pews as Samson allegedly walked up and down the aisle shooting his weapon.

Samson is accused of killing Melanie Smith Crow of Murfreesboro and wounding six others at the church a month ago tomorrow (Tuesday).
