(MURFREESBORO) Chamber of Commerce BEP Executive Director Amelia Bozeman announced, "Applications for The Emil and Lilly Hassan Teachers' Fund are now available for teachers with the Murfreesboro City and Rutherford County School Systems."

The purpose of The Emil and Lilly Hassan Teachers' Fund is to provide resources for teachers who need equipment for projects that fall outside the scope of the BEP Nissan Teacher Mini-grant Awards, which fund projects in amounts of up to $500. Thanks to a generous investment from Emil and Lilly Hassan, teachers are eligible for grants in sums of up to $10,000 per proposal; a maximum of two proposals per teacher may be submitted and potentially awarded.
