The Murfreesboro City School Board is inviting parents and the community to participate in the district's strategic planning sessions.
The first of three planned meetings is scheduled for Tuesday (August 15th) at Overall Creek Elementary for Overall, Scales and Cason Lane Schools.
Officials say parent participating is vital to the school system's success and their input will be valuable.
Another town hall will be held September 19th at Mitchell-Neilson Elementary for Mitchell-Neilson, Northfield, John Pittard and Erma Siegel Schools.
The final one will be October 17th at Hobgood Elementary for Hobgood, Black Fox, Reeves-Rogers, Bradley and Discovery School parents.
All of the meetings will run from 6:30 to 7:30pm each night. More information can be found on cityschools.net.
